Why shouldn’t Harper Lee be on this list?

Because Harper Lee is a woman:) and all the other authors on this list are male (as in the title)!Scratch that. I just reread the introductory blurb. I guess that, unfortunately, she’s the only woman these men who were interviewed mentioned!

I see why that tripped you up. It is a shame that she’s the only woman on the list.

I think the only reason I didn’t blink was because I’m also working on the Women’s Milestone Fiction list and that one has a few men on it.
