I believe the list was actually completely correctwith the updated newest version of the book. I did a check and the newest book which I bought in Autumn did actually have 1002 films in (a mistake!) and those 12 or so new films were all added in.

If you’re sure the changes were correct, then put them back up. However, some people like to keep the list as the particular version they’re working on. I, personally prefer the most up-to-date and accurate version I can get.
At very least, I’d suggest that if the changes are made to this main list that the one that got cut get added to the ‘1001 List Rejects’ list, so people can see where the changes were made.

Yeah, I prefer the most accurate and up to date as well. So, for now, I will try and put the new entires back and then will work on finding out the ones that were replaced so that they can be added to that other list as you suggest.

I think you guys are new to this list and do not realize that as a group (read the earlier comments) it was decided to keep this list as one specific version.
If that changed that’s fine, but maybe others would like to chime in on this…
I do not object to the changes per se, but at the very least, changes like this should be suggested to the group first, not just done with the afterthought that “we thought this was the best idea.”
