I’m delighted to have your contributions to this list. You have added several books I’m unfamiliar with. I’ll have to check them out!
Two questions: RE the Cairo Trilogy. These are definitely on my must-read list. Would you object if I deleted your entry and re-entered each title separately? That way I could tick them off individually as I read them.
“Diamonds Are Forever”? I admit I’m a bit of a book snob, but isn’t Ian Fleming sort of disposable beach reading? Sort of like Nora Roberts?
Anyhow, good to have your suggestions.

By all means separate out the Cairo Trilogy.
Casino Royale is on the original 1001. A lot of people think Diamonds is the best of the Ian Fleming’s. I’ve not read any Nora Roberts so can’t comment but if I were to be a book snob I would say that I hate Bryce Courtenay.

Diamonds Are Forever
Just finished this (my first James Bond). I enjoyed it, but I don’t think it comes close to being a great book. Nothing like the Bonds in the movies!
