How about Candide? Surely that one belongs! I’d put Genesis ahead of Exodus as far as being more influential, and more interesting. Also, the books of Samuel were very influential, and the gospel of Matthew and John. And then there’s Revelation of John.

Really, I would just throw the whole New Testament in one book, although I’m not sure the letters of Paul really belong.

I’m also partial to maybe either “Slaughterhouse Five” or Welcome to the Monkey House", although the latter is really more than one story and has an unfair advantage.
