Not included on purpose:
Final Fantasy Legend 1-3 (See the SaGa series)
Final Fantasy Adventure (See Secret of Mana/Seiken Densetsu series)

They were excluded intentionally —
Chronicles is: FFII (IVj), which is already covered by the SNESFFII, and ChronoTrigger, which is not a FF game.
Origins is FFI & IIj, which is covered in Dawn of Souls above.
In general, you bring up a good point — since there aren’t single releases of all 12+ final fantasy games, I had to do a patchwork sort of list and hope everything was covered. There are overlaps, such as with Origins and Chronicles.
Also, maybe they should be included in the list, since they add some original material to those games. Like I said, we have imperfect tools here; the main purpose of the list is for somebody to check off playing /some/ version of the game.
