God you’re right- so much noir from the 40’s and 50’s then they have Melville, Chabrol, neo noir, gangsters popping up all over. Still they do have the 4 best by Mizoguchi and 2 lovely ones by Rohmer, The Green Ray and My Girlfriend’s Boyfriend
