Films with Jewish Characters or Plots (2000-Present)

Adam Sandler almost always plays a Jewish character in his films, and Judd Apatow usually has at least one major Jewish characters in his. But the references are subtle (which speaks to the role of Jewish characters in contemporary comedies).

If you are aware of a Jewish main character in a film not listed – Sandler, Apatow, or otherwise – please add it. But make sure it is a clear reference (a chuppah at his wedding, use of Yiddish by a relative, a self-reference to Bar Mitzvah, etc. and not just “he seems Jewish”).
