There’s Asa Nonami’s The Hunter, about Detective Takako Otomichi. Also, what about Miyuki Miyabe? (All She Was Worth, The Devil’s Whisper) There’s also Natsuo Kirino (Out, Real World). Although her books are maybe more crime than mystery.
