Ahead of Hope and Glory and The Killing Fields. I hate lists, but I love this site; go figure.

Agreed.
The idea that the mediocre Brassed Off or the utterly meretricious Elizabeth should make such a list at all is absurd. Then a film like The Fallen Idol or The Entertainer is not on the list at all.
