Steven Jay Schneider's "1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die (6th Ed)"

Is it correct that Dr. Mabuse – The Gambler (1922) is ON the list and The Testament of Dr. Mabuse (1933) is not? I thought Testament was more critically acclaimed but I haven’t seen The Gambler.
