Channel 4's "100 Greatest Tearjerkers"

Perhaps because its unapologically depressing and unsettling, rather than sentimental in its appeal, which usually makes sympathetic viewers tear up at the misfortune and unjustice of others. RFAD is definitely a great film, but its more sobering in its sadness and desperation than it is heartbreaking, at least in my opinion.
