Actually, on second thought, I think I will attempt to re-create the old lists. I’ll just do so gradually. Once I start that, I will delete all my complaints, and you won’t have that lingering sense that your efforts have been slighted.

But to re-iterate, I do appreciate the work you’ve put in to update, and I certainly appreciate having the updated list.

Okay, I’ll keep an eye out for those old lists and will help out where I can.

I guess I just view the TSPDT lists as different from the AFI or Sight and Sounds lists, precisely because of their evolving nature. They don’t make a new poll each year, they compile as many lists as they can find, incorporating the old ones in.

Which brings up the issue of TSPDT’s top 250 of the 21st century list. I can guarantee that will get updated in January (although I probably won’t do it myself to avoid the headache), but if you want to save the old version (I honestly don’t understand why), you should do so now.
