Dr. Peter Boxall's "1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die (2006 edition)"

9 of the last 10 books I have read were worth consuming. In order they are: 1. The English Patient, 2. The Reader, 3. Time’s Arrow, 4. The Breakfast of Champions, 5. A Farewell to Arms, 6. King Solomon’s Mines, 7. The Lost Honor of Katharina Blum, 8. The Plot Against America, 9. The Glass Key, and (the one not worth consuming) Sabbath’s Theater. Note I found the 2008 version of the list which has about 284 changes and is more international. It is on this site saying something like “2008” version in its title. So, I am doing both lists now but do prefer the new list. Incidentally, at the time I entered the books I had read on the 2008 version of the list I dropped 22 books so on that list I am not at 90 but am at 68 but that’s ok because about 90% of what I have read so far has been good. I will still update this older list each 10 percent increase. Thanks for your time!
