Who’s trying to convince you? Are you trying to take this list seriously? Come on, it’s a movie list. It’s not meant to be definitive, it’s subjective. No one can convince me Shawshank is the greatest film of all time because there is not such thing as the greatest film of all time!

Of course it’s subjective. But imdb has left themselves open to letting the list become ridiculous by not putting any controls in place that would avoid having summer action movies end up on what purports to be a list of the 250 greatest films of all time. I expect Wolverine to show up on the list pretty soon.
