but most of those will help you with other lists, so it shouldn’t be as daunting as it first looks. i think it is nice to have a long list of stuff to do. i hate it more when i can’t figure out what i want to watch/read/do. we should do something similar for books – you seem pretty diverse over there too.

can i ask, what’s with 43 in the first place? for you?

long story made short

i had a dream when i was 15 that was like the seasame street song “1-2-3-4-5….6-7-8-9-10…11-12” except it kept going all the way to 43 and stopped. Then the 43 started flashing and getting really big to the point that it woke me up with an “eureka.” i woke up a friend of mine and asked him what he thought it might mean, and he said he didn’t know, but we both decided it was probably something important that i should try to figure out. i’ve been fascinated/collecting/obsessed ever since. i have 15 years of collecting 43’s now. some people collect watches or cars, i collect strange facts about a number.

i hope all the movies are available to you. i don’t see why not. some of them will be harder to find than others – possibly like amelie & city of lost children, which are french independents, and i have severe doubts that you will find down by law because it is a small independent that is hard to find around here sometimes. but it stars tom waits, and if you know who that is, then you will want to see it more than the others and it is worth trying to ebay it to jakarta.

that’s an interesting story. just curious, but do you know if anybody else have the same thing? probably with a different number?

the french movies i think i can get easy, i have many french friends. and i’m going back to england soonish anyway, so i’ll get it then. where r u btw?

a few people through my blog that have similar obsessions with 43, but for different reasons. I haven’t met anyone else who has had the seasame street dream, but maybe one day I will.

I forgot that maybe French Indies would be easier for you to get than they would for some other people… like me. American Indies might be harder for you then.

I’m in the US. South Carolina. Blah. I’m saving money right now to travel over to Europe. Particularly Prague & Berlin.

prague’s super cool, berlin was a bit grey, i was there in 94 tho, and never been back since. Been to London?

london would be cheaper for me to visit than prague/berlin, that is for sure. thinking about doing london/paris/rome either a few years before or a few years after the prague/berlin/copenhagen trip. i don’t know why i have this thing for eastern europe, but it is there. i think berlin would have been very gray indeed in 94. hear it is fun as hell now.

well, my ex wife just got back from Berlin and posted her pics there (very pretty) and her current bf (not very pretty). but berlin looks fun. :D
