For love of country, and to help protect it, I joined and served with the best. While in I got to see the world, receive honors, and did well. I’d do it again if they’d take a 39 yr old with a worn out back!

Built a boat
Couldn’t afford the one I wanted (for fly fishing), so I built my own from scratch. $1,000’s later in wood, resin, varnish, paint, hardware, I spent more! But she’s beautiful, and I did it alone.

Ran 3 marathons
Started out barely going 100 yards, and finished my first within a year’s training. went on to do two more, but it became too much like work. ought to get back into it.
