No, I haven’t. (Yet. I did like “The Yellow Wall-Paper,” though.) I had gotten the impression that it was more utopian than dystopian. Not that that means it’s not a good read, just that it doesn’t entirely fit with my theme.
Though I suppose one man’s dystopia is another man woman’s utopia, right? Most dystopian literature does seem to be about how creating a supposed utopia doesn’t really quite work. ;)

True enough! You might also like Cloud Atlas, by David Mitchell (particularly the middle sections—you’ll understand when you read it).

Cloud Atlas seems like an intriguing book, from the bits and pieces I’ve heard about it—I’ve had it in the back of my mind for a while as something to read someday.
