No, I haven’t. (Yet. I did like “The Yellow Wall-Paper,” though.) I had gotten the impression that it was more utopian than dystopian. Not that that means it’s not a good read, just that it doesn’t entirely fit with my theme.
Though I suppose one man’s dystopia is another man woman’s utopia, right? Most dystopian literature does seem to be about how creating a supposed utopia doesn’t really quite work. ;)
True enough! You might also like Cloud Atlas, by David Mitchell (particularly the middle sections — you’ll understand when you read it).
