Some of this doesn’t translate well for the UK.

We don’t “need” health insurance, it’s an optional extra.

An IRA is an Independent Retirement Account. It is tax free contribution to an investment retirement account or it’s growth is tax free and the contribution is taxable. (depends on the type of IRA)
