… Solzhenitsyn’s best, just because it’s shorter than Gulag. But I really like Gulag. And especially the first page when Solz relates the incautious news article that told of the discovery of an ice lens in Kolyma containing ice age salamander. And, more interestingly, what happened to the thousands year old amphibians immediately after discovery by a starving crew of Zeks… Hope you read that one!
