For the most part, you're not.
She does have a few gems on here, though. Cry, the Beloved Country is an amazing novel by Alan Paton about fathers, sons, grief, and walls we set between and within ourselves. A Fine Balance is without question one of the sweetest, saddest novels ever written. East of Eden looks promising, The Bluest Eye of course deserves a look, and I’m looking forward to Anna Karenina.
