if ‘the complete sherlock holmes’ is included in a fantasy/sci-fi list it seems like wilde’s ‘portrait of dorian grey’ and kafka’s ‘metamorphoses’ should be shoe-in’s. just my opinion.

Though if you want to get technical, both of those could be categorized as horror.

I see your point, but I view supernatural horror (not the normal serial killer kind) as a subset of Fantasy.
