It’s a bit strange having “Australia/Oceania” as a continent. Oceania is the region in which Australia is situated. Australia itself is a continent.

But then what happens to New Zealand, etc....
When talking about the top 7, most people use the combined Oceania/Australia.

Granted, it depends on how open your interpretation of “continent” is – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Continent
Your interpretation is a lot more open than mine! Someone should just take a stance and stick with it perhaps – link it from some reputable source.

If we look at WHY this list is here...
you can see that people get to ‘tick off’ the places they have been. It isn’t to draw lines to separate us. I believe that a continent is a continent, but here, I think it means a little more.
When I first added this list I went to change this error straight away. I then realised why it was added this way.
We are not making global political decisions here, just trying to waste some time saying where we have been and where we want to go.
