Over 90 million votes cast across the globe, The results include worldwide online, SMS and telephone voting.

If I could select an alternate, it would definitely be the magnificent Alhambra as I was in AWE when I visited Granada a few years back.

Eiffel Tower, France
Hagia Sophia, Turkey
Kiyomizu Temple, Japan
Kremlin/St. Basil, Russia
Neuschwanstein Castle, Germany
Pyramids of Giza, Egypt
Statue of Liberty, USA
Stonehenge, United Kingdom
Sydney Opera House, Australia
Timbuktu, Mali

So far, I have had the good fortune of visiting 4 of the sites…

The Alhambra

& Neuschwanstein Castle

I really am quite disappointed that Alhambra didn’t make the final 7 :(

I have been to none of the chosen sites.

I have been to the Alhambra, the Eiffel Tower, and Lady Liberty.

Taj Mahal and Petra, as well as Ankgor Wat, the pyramids, Hagia Sophia, Stonehenge and St. Basil remain on my list of must-sees.
