Well, I liked Rushmore most of all. In fact, it’s one of my all time favourite movies. Royal Tenenbaums was wonderful but there were so many characters that it was almost too short. Bottle Rocket was a fun “smaller” film. Life Aquatic was a little too odd at times but still very good.
Wes Anderson is one of the most interesting American directors of the last 10 years I think, sort of a poet with a camera, if that makes any sense.
Credit also to Mark Mothersbough for the usually wonderful musical choices.
