The Subjected Reader's "Creepy Asia"

I can’t point out exactly what’s wrong with it. Maybe it was just too corny? Maybe it’s the lame attempt at trying to match every other Asian film about dead girls with too much hair?

The ending was fairly predictable, although rather confusing because it has a “twist” to it (not particularly a good one either), and the dubbed voices had me rolling on the floor laughing.

Also try Art of the Devil and Art of the Devil II. They’re also Thai. They are a tad bit better than Mae Nak. The films remind me of a generic, Thai version of a Takashi Miike film because they’re so gory =P
