I hope that someday I might could live in Alaska, and I read everything I can find about this place. I have several books, but the 2 I have listed are my favorites. I like Heather Lende’s book because it’s all about being on the inside while Peter Jenkins’ is about being an outsider and learning about the place with fresh eyes.

I am fascinated by France. I’ve been there before and hope to return many more times. I don’t think I will ever probably live there, but I enjoy reading stories about people who have done just that. The 2 listed are my best ones. I especially enjoyed learning about how to have a baby in France from Paris to the Moon, and liked learning the tricks of getting to be a local from Almost French.
