A superb director, and i would most strongly recommend: Letter from an Unknown Woman, Madame de, Lola Montes, Le Plaisir.

Yeah, but where the heck do you get those? “Letter…” and “Madame de” are on every single list of essential films but I can’t find them anywhere. I even tried downloading a torrent and I couldn’t find it. It’s frustrating!
