Paul Schrader - Film Canon

Glad you liked it.

I must say I respect Schrader tremendously, so I think it a fascinating list — not the least because some of the choices are pretty bold (Big Lebowski, Mother and Son, Gun Crazy), some rather questionable (A Place in the Sun? Seven Men from Now?), and at least one I violently disagree with (Huston’s The Dead, which I consider a perfect example of a literary adaptation that gets the details right while missing the entire essence of the original.)

Still, all films worth seeing…
