You’ve got the wrong version of All Quiet on the Western Front here. I’ll change it. Well done on providing the list though. Barry Norman did a good job presenting the BBC’s flagship Film programme for many years- and a lot more knowledgeable than his successor Jonathon Ross!

I found his book at a used book store about five years ago, and then over the next summer watched all the films I had not seen in it, some of them a little hard to find in the US, like Genevieve and Oh! Mr. Porter. It peeked my interest in British film which lead me eventually to the BFI top 100 list. Glad I found the book.
