Lots of goodies, but i can’t see The White Balloon here. And how about 2 personal favourites, Alice in the Cities + Eternity and a Day? Still, another fine imdb classics board list.

I haven’t seen any of those 3 movies. They sound like they would be worthy of inclusion if this list were ever revisited. I wasn’t around when this list was devised but I came across it and happily transcribed it. Those guys on the board love their movies. I’d like to see more lists like this come out of the board – political films, films which depict the elderly with intelligence, ditto for the disabled, films dealing with various political and sociological themes. I should problem start the discussion myself rather than waiting for someone else!
