I find a lot of people are like that…They take literature fairly seriously, but see film as merely entertainment. I don’t think it would be inconsistent to enjoy Dostoevsky (dark European classic) and many of the films on my list which are often dark European and classic. I’d like to think my taste in literature, film, music and art is all fairly consistent, or at least there’s some commonality between it. But, I know, a lot of people have totally different tastes in one area than they do in others.
