Tyler Knowlton's "Listening List for Trumpet Students"
This list, for trumpet students, is designed to: 1) survey some of the basic repertoire, 2) inform the musical senses (tonal concept, phrasing, style, emotional connections, etc.), 3) experience the diversity of different musical genres, and 4) develop some appreciation of great music. Most, though not all, of the music here features the trumpet.
