Leah's "Books read in 2012"

I’m trying to keep track of what I’m reading yet again this year, although I’ve had a bit of a slow start. I’m going to keep some notes this time on what I’ve read.

Scorpia Rising: A good conclusion to the Alex Rider series, which I read so I could keep up with the books.

The House of Silk: I love Sherlock Holmes, and Horowitz is a good writer, but he should have left it alone. I think I’ll blog about that one.

Sparkling Cyanide and The Pale Horse: Some of Christie’s best novels don’t have Marple or Poirot in them. And I was sort of able to guess part of Cyanide, which is fun.

One, Two, Buckle My Shoe: I think I’ve nearly finished reading all of the Poirot novels somehow. Not the best, but still very good.

The Princess Diaries: I loved these books from when I was 12-14. I got a bit sick of them, but since there were 3 left and they were reasonably priced on the Kindle, so I decided to read them, and they’re good fun, despite being pretty ridiculous. No wonder my mum thinks I read too much Young Adult Fiction.
