stmark1977's "Bands/Musicians I've Seen Live"
I am eternally grateful to have been in the right place and the right time to see many of the bands below including tons of bands at the 9:30 Club (mostly for free) and other clubs in D.C./Baltimore and in N.Y., L.A., and Europe. I am somewhat embarrassed to have seen many others (I saw a lot of bands at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD just because lawn seats were less than $10). The only bands I have "met", however, other than local D.C./Balt./NY/LA bands are U2, Teardrop Explodes, Duran Duran, Bronski Beat, Pet Shop Boys, Siouxsie Sioux, Patti Smith, Adam Ant, and members from The Iguanas, the Rockats, and the Polecats. Also, lived with a member of Classix Nouveaux for many years. This list is a work in progress.
