Rolling Stone's "500 Greatest Songs of All Time"
This isn’t restricted to singles only, the folks at RS picked some album tracks.
GREG’S NOTE: I’ve re-edited this list to try and make sure I’m using the same version as what’s on other lists such as the Country 500, Dave Marsh’s 1001 Greatest singles, RIAA Hall of Fame etc. That way, you’ll get correct "credit" for hearing a song on all 3 lists. This MAY mean that some things you have consumed get unchecked…sorry about that.
