I found opera late in life, mainly due to PBS. For someone who loves fantasy, Wagner and Mozart turned out to be naturals. Now I see performances live whenever I can, and spend way too much on CDs and DVDs.

And for all the people who use "going to the opera" as a brushoff for unwanted dates: Try it. You’ll be surprised.
