2 more left..can I stream these somewhere? — 26 weeks ago

Library doesn’t have:
Jackson 5 ABC
James Brown SEX MACHINE

They also don’t interlibrary loan for A/V materials.

Any chance there’s a site out there where I can sample the entire albums to tick these last ones off?

It is indeed an odd “error.” The list was compiled from voters, some of whom probably have better taste than others. Led Zep II is, I think, superior to IV (though it’s pretty close, I admit) but it’s a little surprising they have I on there and not IV. Placement is also rather strange. I like Nevermind, but #2 ever? Still, when I was exploring the art of the album for the first time, this list was pretty good beginning guide, much like the AFI list years before for movies…both lists will be quickly outgrown, but are worthy introductions.

Did I just go through that list and not see Led Zeppelin IV? Must have been an error in the list or something. And Guns and Roses ahead of Led Zeppelin? They’d all be working as janitors and flipping burgers STILL if Led Zeppelin didn’t make those albums.
