Knowing my purpose — 3 years ago

I will know that I am living my purpose when I am doing what I love and I am clear about what that is. When I can describe myself clearly because I know who I am.

Purpose is not the one, grandiose, world-changing, written-in-the-sky destiny that many think it is. It is simply knowing and expressing the unique combination of likes, loves, joy, talents, skills and abilities that make you who you are.

Those who are successful and fulfilled know themselves, and despite conditions around them; despite the world’s wisdom or that of others, they live true to themselves. They express, over and over, in many different ways, through various missions and all sorts of new avenues, who they know themselves to be. And, it’s living and expressing one’s uniqueness that gives life meaning.

What is my reason for being. Am I here to be and contribute what is so uniquely me?
