Struts is an interesting Java framework for web design.

However, I cannot help but thinking as I use it, “there has to be a better way”.

It seems like a hodgepodge of ideas that have been thrown together and called a solution.

Web programming is very primitive and so bizarre.

One gets the idea with all of them, that the people designing them are trying to build something up from pebble-sized solutions.

Instead of that, they should be envisioning a process that is easy to follow and works well. And build down from the roof of that to the pebbles on the ground.

Instead, programmers are architecting web frameworks like people trying to build houses out of pebbles they find lying on the ground.
