Roger Ebert's four-star reviews of the 2000s
This is a chronological (roughly) list of all of the movies that Roger Ebert has given a four-star review thus far in this decade. Let’s hope they won’t be the last!
Movies that were released as more than one version are given here as the version closest to what Mr. Ebert reviewed. For the most part, that means the version not promoted as an "unrated" edition is the one listed. In a few cases, that means listing the IMAX edition of a movie instead of a widely-available video version.
Eros is an anthology of three short films. Mr. Ebert’s review (http://xrl.us/bjxwo) gave Wong Kar-Wai’s "The Hand" four stars, Steven Soderbergh’s "Equilibrium" three stars, and Michelangelo Antonioni’s "The Dangerous Thread of Things" one star.
Note that in 2006, Roger Ebert’s website began publishing reviews written by the site’s editor-in-chief, Jim Emerson. Those reviews are not included here.
