Monsterpants's "Steely Dan-related Movies I Want to See (and books, to read)."

Add to my lists | Print this list

... even remotely Dan-related movies and books go on this list. It’s really my goal right now to watch as many movies and read as many books as I can that have influenced Steely Dan, or associate in ANY way with that band and its two masterminds, Becker and Fagen. I think that would be fun.

But the first step is compiling a list to start from! If you can help, please comment. Or, if you want me to wait to watch or read one of them with YOU, dear visitor to this list, please let me know so I can wait for you!

movie you're missing — 1 year ago

The director’s cut of Almost Famous has Steely Dan playing on a TV in a live performance. This was cut out of the movie theater version of the film.

If John Doe writes another book with words that just won’t quit- why must I forge through it? Let George do it.
