I was born in 1975, but I grew up in the eighties. Does that “count,” I wonder?

What were those plastic blocks that were made in primary colors and fit together with little teeth, kind of like velcro? There were big cubes, and little short pieces that looked like french fries, and square pieces that looked like onion rings..

Also looking for the name of a tile game, a little like Mah Jong. That’s all I can remember. Numbers and images in red and blue and yellow, I think.. and one of the images may have been a sun. Played with my grandma all the time, but can’t remember the name of the game.
