Explanation: — 3 years ago

I was just thinking about things that all girls should know to be self-sufficient and feel empowered to have great adventures. It’s a pretty basic list.

Some of the stuff seems sort of old fashioned, like the cookies, but, really, I have yet to meet someone who would possibly turn down fresh, homemade cookies. Everyone loves cookies, and there may be a time when such a gesture could brighten someone’s day, or be an acceptible barter for a favor. (One girl I know paid her Calc tutor in cookies.) And if, on principle, you don’t bake, that’s fine. Just know the location and hours of a good baker. That’ll suffice.
