The Only Movie List You'll Ever Need

Add to my lists | Print this list

It’s all here. This list was compiled from generally accepted industry prestige, based on quality and influence. It is an all-inclusive selection that includes the films nominated for the AFI Top 100 American films list, Roger Ebert’s Great Movies Series, The best of foreign cinema from the Criterion Collection, as well as selections from Entertainment Weekly, Time Magazine, Leonard Maltin, TSPDT, Stephen J. Schneider, filmsite.org, the Village Voice and many other Academy Award winners and nominees. The primary goal was to compile an extensive list of canonized titles, without focusing on the intentionally obscure or films that skew more towards a contributors personal taste. Enjoy.
