Jen's "Goals: Places to explore in DC"

I moved to Washington D.C., two months ago as of this writing. I have yet to get out and really sink my teeth into this place other than riding the Metro to and from work and a few events related to work. I know I need to get off my lazy, down-in-the-dumps-because-of-the-winter butt and do something, but so far, I haven’t. So this will be my list of places to see and experience in the area.
