Academie Goncourt's "Prix Goncourt"

Add to my lists | Print this list

The Prix Goncourt is the most prestigious prize in French literature, given to the author of "the best and most imaginative prose work of the year."

English translations are listed if available.

Note:
  • The 1914 prize was not chosen until 1916 because of the outbreak of World War I.
  • The 1960 award was never actually received due to accusations that the author was a fascist.
