Definitely get a debit card! — 5 years ago
I went to Australia and New Zealand last year, and having a debit card is definitley the way to go. That way you don’t have to carry cash, if something happens to your card you can put a stop on it and get a replacement, and you get a better exchange rate by using a card instead of a currency exchange business. Also, set up online banking so you can keep track of how much money you have! Hope you have fun on your trip!
