Ever loyal wise Yoda, long suffering under the demon tyrannical perfectionist Mizoguchi, who would repeatedly return his scripts with the words “no good” or “is this the best you can do?”. Yoda thought Life of Oharu their best film.

Given the influence of Kurosawa’s 1950’s classic Hidden Fortress on Star Wars and character Yoda’s turn of phrase/sentence order, there may well be a Star Wars link that has been generally overlooked.
