Addition of "Two Noble Kinsman" — 1 year ago

Didn’t see why this wasn’t part of the list as “Pericles” is included. If this is an issue please feel free to remove it.

that might be so, but i don’t think it’s for you, or i, to say.

however here’s a thought – although this is not necessarily true lets say that the very hungry caterpillar was written primarily to be read to children by adults. does that mean you can only tick it if an adult has read it to you (which I can proudly say i’ve had the pleasure of)?

I would say not, because shakespeare has nothing to do with whatever the actor adds to the performance; that is independent of what he wrote. the only thing shakespeare left behind is the text – for people to do with as they will – and thus it is the text alone that i trust

no because its an album which is a cd (or similar) which is meant to be listened to as an album in a room but a play is something that is performed. something is lost by it not being listened to as an album.. play = intneded to be on stage = something is lost by reading it

i want to read them all anyway and there’s more chance of me reading them than seeing them so i will do it that way. if i saw all the songs on led zeppelin IV performed live by led zeppelin i would still say i havent listened to the album

if the list has certain publishers mentioned etc then thats ok but a list where it just says the play then those can be ticked
