but plays are written to be performed u can still hear things by led zeppelin and them is different to fred zeppelin as the fact it is them is an integral part of the source material .. but there is no fixed set of performers for the shakespeare ones and and plays are meant to be performed.. .it is their purpose

what i mean is when you watch a play you are seeing a performance – an interpretation of a text is not the text itself

well yes but luckily the play i saw wasnt

but you have to be certain you have seen the full play and that no scene or line has been omitted and also in the written play it describes the scenery which is completely ignored if its set in a post apocalyptic future

nah its just like getting it read out to you and ppl change editions of the written versions so its only the same level of risk

i shan’t, i’ll tick it when i’ve read shakespeares writing not watched some buffoon’s acting. its like ticking led zeppelin IV because you’ve seen all the songs performed by Fred Zeppelin

yes but the screenplay is also on the book list but you dont tick it cos you havent read it, you’ve seen the film production of it. like you’ve seen baz luhrmann’s romeo and juliet, you dont tick the play on the book list
